  1. Surely you need a sizable amount of liquid to process and absorb all this also? Right? Sorry I just don't know and does that liquid need to be electrolyte balanced also?

  2. I think this is a bit misleading? Surely no one believes all that fueling was done via one off 30g gel packs. A good portion was probably done consistently over time via mix in their bottles.

  3. Yes this post is ridiculous…their sponsor is AMACX not precision fuel. Some riders put Maurten in their bottles so that's 70-90g/bottle which assuming it's 70×4 that's 280g the gels are 30g each so that's 90g, the chew bars are 30g each so 210g for for a total 580g but his team said he had a little less.

"Across the stage, Healy consumes seven chew bars, three gels, and four and a half energy drink bottles. It helps him sustain 5.6 watts/kilo over an hour-long attack."

  4. They taste like shit. And I would never pay for them. My friend works at your factory and steals them for me. But I still can't eat more than 1 pack because of the taste

  5. That must suck they taste nasty and they do bad things to people. I have marshalled enough marathons and half marathons to see the aftermath of gels

  6. BS! I watched the entire race and he wasn’t eating gels that often. If he really ate that many we would have seen that about every 15-20 minutes. Didn’t happen!!
