Cycling UK has launched a campaign to make where we live, shop, walk and cycle better places.

We want the Government to fund councils so they can put their plans for better walking and cycling into action, improving towns and cities for everyone.

Help us achieve that goal by clicking on the action and make your voice heard.

[Music] where would you rather be shopping on a busy congested high streets penned in behind guardrails breathing nasty fumes or would you rather have space to breathe room to sit outside and meet up with a friend are you doing would you rather dodge traffic on a cabinets junction [Music] or you rather have your own dedicated space to walk cycle and enjoy last year the government asked council to come up with plans to make places healthier happier and more attractive but without funding many streets and town centers will remain dangerous unhealthy and unattractive we want councils to be able to put their plan into action but to do so and make more places look like this they need more funding so we’re urging the government to provide the money councils need to deliver healthy places and you can add your voice by clicking the button below to support our campaign it’ll take 2 minutes of your time but could help transform where you live shop walk or work thanks [Music]

  1. And another reason to hike the community charge again, councils are looking after councillors and claim they don't get enough money from the government anymore for boroughs. So while we'd love to gave things right we fear the hikes in council tax.
