Both sides have done some pretty bad things. Both sides have done some good things. The only distinction is the men leading them. One country has a man who’s been in power for nearly 30 years, on his last legs, and is fearful of his country being overcome by consumerism and Western influence. On the other hand, you have an entertainer, an actor, someone who’s bowed down to Western values, and is open to letting his country become a feasting ground for the ultra wealthy and their schemes. One is not more right than the other. Neither is each cause more heinous. The only difference is perspective, and why each individual wants their agenda to take shape.
