I wanted to adjust my seat height today. Since my Ultimate CF SL8 2022 is a model bought from the outlet, which was previously used as a test model, I wanted to check the inner part of the frame and apply some new grease. Once I had the complete seat post out I noticed a part of the frame (?) sticking out, right where the seat post is clamped. I became worried and saw that it was barely attached. I tried to get it back into the normal position, but it completely detached and with it came the screw insert. Of course, now I’m unable to put it back together. My seat post is also in a terrible condition and does not seem save to use any more. When I first got the bike I was too stocked on finally putting it together that I did not fully check the inside of the seat tube and the condition of the seat post. Now I am unsure how the Canyon support will react to this and if they’ll offer a solution.

So I’m deciding to post this here and ask if anyone has had a similar problem and was able to get it fixed?
