I'm looking to upgrade my current commuter hybrid marin and get my first road bike.
Use case: I use my bike to commute daily (10 minute ride). I also have been bike packing before and would like to get a road bike that can be used for that too.
I found this specialized bike for sale locally and am wondering if this is a good price and can be used for bike packing trips.

If you want a bike that you can go bikepacking with I would be looking for steel frames with lots of mounts. This is an extremely dated race geometry bike. It won’t be comfortable for commuting and very limited options for mounting bags and fenders.
