Hello and welcome to highlights of stage three of the tour to France fam a zith from Laasi to today and Kim Lor level on time. Where’s the myojon for today’s stage Pauling for provo third at 6 seconds with Cassie Nubia Damian voning P Peterson Anna Vander Palina Recaser Black and Khloe Diger all in the top 10 for what was expected to be a day for the sprinters. One cat four climb along the route 129.4 Four to go. 39.6 to go. The green jersey sprint in Vern Donju, but a very technical run towards the finish. It was going to be a tough day to negotiate. Lorenois, the pressure was on. The fastest sprinter in the world. Could she deliver for team SD works? A breakaway group went clear containing Allison Jackson of EF Education Oatley, Clemons Latimeier of our Airbnb hotel, Sarah Martin of Mauiar and Catalina Stoampos of the Labra Cooch Fondad team. The gap was being held by the team of SD Works Pro time. Never really going much above 4 minutes. It was very much in control as we headed towards the sprint at Vern Donju with 39.6 to go. The breakaway rolled through Allison Jackson taking maximum points. They wanted to keep the fluidity of the breakaway while behind the battle for the green jersey points between Loreno Vivas in white and Mariana Voss in green with Lorenna Vivas edging out Voss. There was a crash with 35.6 km to go. It did take down multiple members of the team of Coffadis with Eugeneia Bujac. The worst off just moments later there was another big crash. This put a split into the pelaton. They would come back. Our breakaway group still holding just over 2 minutes with 31.5 km to go. It was SD Works Pro time driving things on the front for Lorenna Vivas. Kim Laor enjoying her day in the yellow jersey. A monumental day for African Cycling just outside 10k to go. It was a battle to be the last rider standing from the breakaway group with that allimportant combativity prize on offer. Kata Campos, the Chilean national champion going on the attack while the Spanish champ and the Canadian champ would try and come back to them. It would be all over though. Just around 6 km to go with Blancas looking to try and set things up for Lenovivas. A big crash however with 3.7 to go took down Alisa Balsimo of Lealle Trek but one of the big name fallers as well was Damy Volering of FDJ Suez. The winner in 2023 in some discomfort was being helped into the finish by her teammates. The finish it was Noi Ruick in the pink of EF Education Oakley that went long in the sprint. Lot Capeki right behind her. Lorenas didn’t wait for the lead out from the world champion. Launched her move for the line. Mariana Voss in the green was in the wheel, but that was as close as she got. And Loreno Abis came through for win number 108. Lorenas delivers for the team of SD Works Pro time. While Damy Volerin came across the line for her, the five kilometer rule super important today. If the riders crash within that final 5k, they’re given the same time as the group that they were in. Loreno though takes the stage ahead of Baron Avos, Ali Wston, Jastra, Lip, Bau, Yansen, Nvia, Rook, and Brand your top 10. It’s a familiar sight. The pressure always on Lorena Vivas, but she delivers and does yet again for the 108th time in her career. Mariana Voss moves back into yellow. She now holds a 6second advantage over Kim Laort 12 seconds ahead of Pauline from Provo in third as we head to another sprint stage which will suit the GOAT. Will she keep hold of that yellow jersey on tomorrow’s stage? It’s a 130.7 km flat stage tomorrow from Zamur to Poier. The intermediate sprint point coming after 86.7 km. One category 4 climb after a 101.6, but it should be another day for the sprinters. Can Loren Vivis deliver yet again? There’s the stage profile. Expect an early break and things being controlled by SD Works Pro time. Make sure you join us for more action tomorrow.
