My rear left advance roller rack wheel failed the other day ๐Ÿ˜ฑ and it shocked me because I really don't roll the bike folded much, and I installed the rack barely three months ago. (By comparison the Easy Wheels on hubby's Brompton are going strong after a year+)

The replacement pair of advance roller wheels I paid $28 for less than 12 months ago now retail for $65.99 on the Brompton site so I am very interested in figuring out how to rehab rather than replace wheels that fail going forward.

Unfortunately, I don't have a 3D Printer nor do I live in the UK (for those that meet either condition, Velocity Printworks has your 3D needs covered๐Ÿ‘) so I'm trying o-rings available on Amazon.

I ordered 55mm OD, 45mm ID and 60mm OD, 50mm ID. Getting the 50mm ID onto the advance roller wheel required stretching so I didn't bother opening the package of 55/45.

My opinion is that a 60/50 o-ring is better than nothing but it's not an ideal replacement as it sits too deeply in the channel. (See the second photo.) I've ordered 62mm OD, 50mm ID ๐Ÿคž which should arrive the first week of August.

For anyone thinking they can do without a bumper on the wheel, think twice. The damage you see in the last photo was caused by the short trip from my car to my front door.
