Those sustainment bags are almost cheating.

When you consider some brands micro panniers are essentially the same thing. If you wax those they’ll be fairly waterproof (although best use is dry bags inside them. A 12L square Osprey fits almost perfect).

I bought mine for $10 for 4 plus $12 shipping. So $22. Plus an hour of labor (my own) to modify 2. 4 would probably be 1.5-2 hours since we know what we are doing now.

Consider a set of revelate or MLD cost $200-250 and are essentially the same size with the same functionality.

What did you make the frame bag from?

  2. Aww those baby panniers are so cute! Make sure to feed them well so they can grow up big and strong! 💪

How did you make the rack attachments (i.e., the top mounts and the strut attachments)?

  4. Those look like Teravail Washburns. How do you like them? And on what wheel width? Thinking of getting a pair myself.
