I’m trying to mount my bike to a new wheel-on trainer (Tacx), but I can’t seem to remove this cap without completely destroying it or scratching my bike.
It is just glued on with some double sided tape. With my Saris H3 i had a really hard time fitting the bike onto the trainer as my Endurace has thru axles with fixed levers. So i removed the cap and just tightened the axle from the right side, with a hex allen.
Then i purchased DT Swiss axles without the fixed lever and i put the Canyon cap back on.

You can just push it out from the other side…I used a screwdriver.

There’s no need to remove it. The axle comes out the other side.
Can you either pull out the thru axle and push a spare QR skewer through to push it out from the back, or take the entire wheel off and push it out?
EDIT: this is a quick release lever that has a cap on the other side 😬
That cap, I think, is just glued on. You could probably push it out from inside the axel nut with the wheel off. That is hinted in this thread:

You might need an adapter to go from Through Axel to QR Skewer.
