Are your pads contacting the wheel at the same time? I have Black Princes as well and after +600km I have hardly any wear.

Usually a sign that the brake isn’t centered. One brake pad hits before the other. Squeeze the brake lever slowly while looking at the brake and check both pads make contact at the same time. If not, there’s a small bolt on the brake to re-center.

From my experience those pads have some kind break-in period.
It will get better. I had the same issue at first.
