See, I do not understand the hate in Dolan precursas but I goddamn fucking love my precursa.. absolute top tier beater.
I got it on fb marketplace for £120, owner bought it brand new as project but didnt finished it, came with new tubular wheelsets too in which im trying to sell for £100 right now and so on..
I bought some carbon parts off aliexpress and holy crap it feels good to ride. The stripped paint limited edition frame is also quite nice and unique since most precursas i see are black.. Also has the ugliest brakes ever hahahha
I have decided to stick with the black accent overall to pop the frame out, slapped some 88m wheelsets from sakya carbon wheels in Aliexpress that can fry scottish breakfast and so on.. Stem is a zipp copy which I got for £18 in aliexpress, seapost and saddle from ElitaOne, brakes from Racework and Bucklos, cranks being Miche Primato on Shimano UN-300 BB…
It’s my first fixed gear I bought from last month, only gotten to take photos with it this weekend 😵💫

Apparently your reading comprehension is not very good. I’m glad you like your bike but the Pre Cursa is almost universally liked here so the premise of your post is flawed & there is no reason for such defensiveness. Enjoy your bike.
a this point im confused about what a beater bike is. My definition it one that it’s a frame on the far side of salvage that you just ride until it breaks down on you. But this ducking looks amazing and is in good condition, so wth is a beater bike then? are you guys really beating your bikes? :’0
