We’ve seen the yellow jersey bring a sprinter onto the Schwan, but I’ve never seen the yellow jersey set off 110 km from a finish and just ride. We’re heading up now to the Eiffel Tower and we’re almost set for the crossing of the line for the first time. We go through the Lou next. We’re going to see a flat out by grace. Now, as the sports directors have said, it’s going to be full on. So, the riders have gone across the line now and that means that Talipaga there in the yellow jersey is the winner of this tour to France. The times have been taken and we’re going to head now to Mont Martra away from the Sha. A little bit tight through there. And now they make their way towards Mont Martra in the background. It’s going to be This is going to be pretty special. Here’s the start of the climb. How many people are on this climb? Absolutely phenomenal. Look again the people just hanging out the windows. There’s the vital statistics. Left hand side. Look at Tad Paga. Nico, you come here, you can’t help but get goosebumps and get motivated. Surely the yellow jersey kicks on now. He’s decided he wants to get involved in the action this afternoon. Wow. Van Art is there. Look at how many people are up here in front of the Sakra. It’s incredible. What a signing by Vizma. Here goes Pagatcha. Little acceleration from the yellow jersey. Pagatcha has decided it’s time to rip this race up. The yellow jersey attacks on Mad. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Tad. 43 years since a yellow jersey won on the Sha if he does it. And now he’s just hammering his way back towards the Sha for the bell. One lap of racing to go. One climb Mont Marta. And whoever takes the risk will win on the Sha. Jorgensson looking for a final a debut stage win. I think he’s really setting it up for uh for Bernard. There’s the attack again. Jorgensson goes again. Trentine immediately follows. He was cute to that. Pagatcha tries to go across. Pagatcha stamping for all he is worth on the pedals to try and win this final stage. Well, Vanart is on the wheel. He’s almost put a lassu over him and he’s hanging on for dear life as he goes towards the top. Pagatcha into the next turn. Remember, wow, Vanart, one of the best cyclross riders in the world. He won’t mind the bike slipping and sliding all over the place. Vanart is still attack. Vanart attacks Pagatcha. The unthinkable has happened. Vanard goes full on now to try and get rid of the yellow jersey. And he’s distancing Tad Pagatcha on Matra. What a turn up for the books. Vanard goes clear. Only a couple hundred meters before. There it is. That’s the top of the climb now. Look at the acceleration. Wow. Vanart has distanced the yellow jersey and winner of the Tors. Vanart is on a mission. Some would have said on Mont Martra it was mission impossible to beat Talip Pagatcha to the top of the climb. But Wal Vanard had othered ideas and he’s gone clear now. Wow. Vanard at 50 km an hour can see the finish line in sight. He turns around for one more time and now he can start to celebrate. Today the tour to France put in a climb to Mont Martra and this rider has produced the most momentous ride. He’s attacked Pagatcha in the yellow jersey at the top of the final climb and well Vanard has pulled off an incredible stage win. Both hands up 10 stage wins in the tour to France. Well Vanard wins on the Sha. Take a big bow. That was incredible. Oh, that was incred wins his fourth tour to France. We’ve enjoyed watching them for three weeks. sneaker. They’ve given us so much uh entertainment over the last three weeks, but also the most incredible fight between the three of them.

  1. Crazy that a rider won half of the stages but not the race. I looked up the riders that won the tour without winning a single stage: "Eight riders have won the Tour de France without winning a stage in that particular Tour. Only two of those riders, Roger Walkowiak (1956) and Greg LeMond (1990), never won a stage in any Tour de France they participated in."

  2. I will never witness anyone close to the greatness of Pogacar ever in my life and ive watched cycling for 40 years. This guy is entirely in his own league! WOW

  3. We all suspected Pogacar would go for it on this stage. But so did Lipowitz. It really reveals his fighting mentality that he had so much to lose but attacked anyway.

  4. An unappreciated thing, if you've never been to Paris, is that those streets are a bit scary to ride on at 10 km/h in dry weather. There's a combination of uneven stone, heavily smoothed stone, and very smooth road markings. Yet they're doing 50 km/h in the rain… on skinny racing tires!

  5. Pojačar was putting in a big effort to make sure there weren’t any sprinters at the finish. This stage was perfect for Wout van Aert. He didn’t even need to sprint.
