I just got one, best thing I've done here, very very good to carry stuff around if you don't have a car, and to carry wifey around as well! Any insurance company you recommend for it?
I went for a regular electric bike + a good trailer. Less than half the cost compared to a cargo bike. Plus you can have the bike without the trailer when you want, and the trailer without the bike can be used as a two kids' stroller. Much better option in my opinion.
Yep 3-wheelers cargos are great to move around with kids, but also super convenient for weekly supermarket grocery shopping or even picking up a visiting friend at the central station! 😉
One downside, as a fast rider, is you get stuck behind others (slow) 3-wheelers cargos when the bike lanes aren't broad enough to overtake…
edit: always take the battery with you. Not super convenient but definitely safer.
Do you have house insurance? Generally it cover bikes. It even covered my iPad that was stolen on a restaurant in the city.
