so with the new bigger wheel gine added to the Brompton folding Brak range there’s more Choice than ever but which is the right Brompton for you we’re going to break the range down and highlight the key characteristics of each model to help you choose your next brmt and folding [Music] bike so every Brompton in the range features their familiar easytouse folder mechanisms they pack up nice and small so you can fit them in a Cupboard under your desk next to you on the train or in the boot of your car they’re nice and convenient to carry and you can even push them along on the rear rack reels once you get the hang of it you can fold and unfold the bike in about 20 seconds each Brompton has a standard size frame however the size is determined by the length of seat post stem and handlebars these handlebars are available in a variety of different shapes and sizes including low mid and high options giving you aggressive riding position or a relaxed riding position the front carrier block is standard across all models allowing you to fit your Brompton bag and carry extra weight easily these Brompton bags are available in different shapes and sizes and when fitted to the bike the ride still feels smooth and controlled even with the added weight so the different types of Brompton are designated by a letter now the c p and t line all share the same frame geometry roll on 16-in wheels and have traditional Rim brakes they offer a nice Nimble ride feel easy to carry and fold up nice and small for convenient storage now the sea line has an all steel frame and is available in two models the urban and the explore now the urban has rear derailer and offers minimal gearing while the explore com finds this with a hub gear to offer a wider gear range for taking on the climbs now the pine shares the same main frame as the Seine but has a titanium fork and titanium rear end combined with a lightweight wheel set this makes the pine about 20% lighter than equivalent SE line so they’re easier to carry and quicker Off the Mark though the lightest of all Brompton is the tline this has an all titanium frame and super light carbon components the G line is the adventure model allowing you to ride off-road offering a different ride feel to a traditional Brompton larger 20in Wheels hydraulic disc brakes and wide handlebars deliver a more controlled ride off-road the gine is a bigger bike so it’s heavier to maneuver but this is less of an issue with how smooth and stable the ride feels off-road and on rough surfaces thanks to the higher volume tires the internal rear hub shifting offers a wide range of gearing for exploring both on and Offroad so the Brompton electric bikes have all the same features as the regular line bikes but add a pedal assist motor which makes them easier to ride especially at the climbs now the battery pack sits neatly on the front luggage block and is the easiest battery pack to fit and remove than any of ebike I’ve ever ridden now there are three power assist modes or assistance levels and you can just these with buttons on the battery pack along with a button here for the integrated lights the differences between the electric g-line and traditional bromton electric models comes down to the battery capacity and the Hub motor the electric CMP models features a front hub motor and 300w battery pack allowing you to get to work sweat free the electric G line features a rear hub motor and 345w battery pack allowing for better traction off-road offers a little more assistance and more range for riding off-road so whichever bromton line is best for you you can turn your ride into an easier paddling experience by choosing the electric version now these ebikes are great for taking the sweat out of the climbs but still offer all the easy folding advantages of the regular bikes so there we are the Brompton folding bike range to find out more about any of these models featured here today please check the link in the description to browse through our bronton range and check out our previous revieww videos on each of these models don’t forget to like this video And subscribe to the channel [Music] oh [Music]

  1. Surprised they didn’t think about some sort of suspension system especially with the G line trying to break into the off road scenario, even the original moulton had a spring system on their shopping bikes , you could even have that type of system on a normal Brompton, it would cycling over pot holes an enjoyable experience, so come on Brompton less talking around the coffee machine and spring into action.

  2. Best is c line 6 gear for city use, P and T is too expensive, the G is a weird neither here not there unless you want a foldable outdoor bike, the electric ones are old tech and too expensive and GoCycle is much better at 500 more… tried them all, C 6 gears all the way for the city

  3. Is there any advantage in replacing the Swytch hub motor on the G-line non-electric model vs the G-line electric model? Can the Swytch battery be used on the G-line electric model?
