    I wouldn’t pay more than 250 for it, it’s a great looking bike but there’s nothing special about it.

  2. If you want a vintage bike to ride around that would be one. I’d put my money into something 20-30 years newer myself. The gang at r/VintageBikes may have a better handle on what that bike might go for. Which model Miyata is it?

  3. Maybe a bit overpriced, but on the upside it should be mechanically good if it’s from a bike shop

  4. Only if you are a collector. You can get a modern, after 2000, bike for the money that is better for riding and maintaining.

    Eh, for most people, you overpaid by $100-150.

    I’ve been looking for that exact model in that size for over a decade since I discovered it existed and, even though I would swap every single component out, I’d happily pay $350 to get it into my garage.
