Trail run of 7.29miles. Abberton is a village between Colchester and Mersea Island. The run included public footpaths that went on the outskirts of the Army firing ranges, if the red flags are flying on the flagpoles you musn’t use the footpaths, none flying today.

Well done for finding an alternative route. I plan many of my runs using OS maps and you never quite know whether a footpath is going to be impasable or non-existent. My latest video was filmed fairly close by in Layer-de-la-Haye. Thankfully, most footpaths in that area were clear. Keep running.
