Finally got around to wrapping up turning the Wahoo! into something my 5'9" can cruise on. I've been slowly whittling away at it as It's not something I was looking to put much $ into. Outside of grips, stem cap, and front wheel everything else I already had on hand from other projects/spare parts bin.

It's stupid. It was meant to be stupid but it is pretty fun.

Back story: it was a kids bike that fell off a vehicle on the freeway. It was all going to the dumpster and I had an idea so I snagged it. I had to replace front wheel, both brake levers/calipers/lines, handle bar, stem, shifter/cables, seat/seatpost, and pedals.

  1. This bike absolutely kicks ass. The only thing I’d change about it is the stem/handlebar thickness to 31.8mm. But then, I suspect the bars wouldn’t be the same amazing copper colour.

Anyway, I haven’t been this excited about a bike in quite some time.
