Well’s really kicking on now. He’s caught the front group. Pow! Trying to bring him back. 159.3 km of racing to go over the top of the climb of the first uh of today’s little challenges. The Qua de Laser. A rapid descent by Ballerini. 72 km an hour in the pouring rain, wet roads. He obviously trusts his tires and himself extremely well. So, we’re about to have three riders at the front. David Ballerini, Mao Schmidt, and Matteo Jorgensson about to join up heading to the top of the Kasi. Checkat has given total energy a very good tour to France. He has been their star rider. Harry Sweeney jumps up to G take the lead now. Jordan Jegat onto second wheel. Harry Sweeney looking for the points in the top. Five points 32 and one. The top of the third climb of the day. The Kota dei. And it’s Harry Sweeney and Jead who go over the top. Fart’s coming out of this race with a lot of strength, isn’t he? He looks good now. Neil at the beginning, but now he’s able just to move. Maybe not the W venard of a couple of years ago, but he’s got that super strength in the legs. They’re going to air. Oops. Little bit of air for Harry Sweeney. So that team, it’s going to be interesting for that. Whoa, whoa, whoa. He’s taking a few risks, isn’t he? Yes, he is. But it’s a bit of a sting this time. It’s a bit of a sting and an acceleration there by the sprinter. Calen Groves goes forwards. And one of the questions actually I got today was what is the difference between a cut and a call. Well, a cut is a short climb and a call is a proper pass. So it’s a geographically it needs to be over uh a certain amount of elevation on. And now an attack Romeo goes clear. Massive move by him. 24.7 kilometers to go. He fancies going in a time troll counterattack. Kaden Groves with Velasco with Frank Vandenbrook and Jake Stewart. That’s the front group. Groves now attacks. Kaden Groves puts in a massive move for Alps and Darnic. That’s he coming out. Oh, big crash. Romeo crashes. Gregoire crashes. And the only rider who doesn’t is Vandenbrook. He came in very, very fast in that corner attacking in the corner. These roads are so still there with the bike problem. He hit the curb hard as well. Yeah, seems to be his ribs. I hope he can get back on the bike, but that was a massive crash. He came in so fast. Oh, that was such a bad crash of Romeo. Gregoire hits the side as well. Three leaders now. They’ll have been given a bit of an adrenaline shake now. A corn on his own. So, at the front of the race. Oh, attack from Ken Grubs. He’s gone alone. Wow. Big move of the Australian. And then Jake Stewart says to Frank Vanderbrook, “What are you going to do about it?” And Vanderbrook says nothing. Big move of Kaden Groves. Yeah, but not great reaction there from Vanderbrook because he’s lost it anyway. You have to admire this ride today because this guy is a sprinter. He is normally the leadout man for Yasper Philipsson. He is the rider who is in the train behind and delivers the stage victories when he’s led out by his team. Today is a very different Caden Groves. He turns the corner and gets set for the biggest win of his career through the roundabout. He’ll be able to see the final run into Pontalier and he can’t believe it. What a day. What an incredible ride. Courageous. Absolutely courageous. He comes around the corner with 100 meters to go. This rider is now a stage winner in all three Grand Tours. The emotion breaks out. Solo win. Kaden Grove stage 20.

  1. So much worry for safety in this sport, it's pathetic that a rider has to fall down and mop the asphalt with his own body, because the super elite bike cannot take a mildly complicated turn…

  2. Great job for Groves !!! A stage win in three Tours – he's a competitor !!! Tough slippery race and these racers have to be exhausted at the Finish in Paris !!!
