hello Welcome to my new video. Hope you are all very well and healthy. Today is our last day in Budapest. And the third day of the trip to Europe. First thing in the morning on this day we arrived at the iconic landmark of Hungary or Budapest, the Libert Square. The first thing that comes in sight is the Soviet War Memorial. A very tall pillar with a golden star. It’s not just a park, there’s a touch of history all around. This is the tall pillar. And this is the Soviet War Memorial. [MUSIC] Out of here now we’ll go to Margaret Island, another quiet place in Budapest. This island in the middle of the Danuk river is like a peaceful house in the middle of the whole city. And let’s go ahead and tell you that we stayed in Budapest not for three days but for three nights and four days. We booked the room we stayed in Budapest from Airbnb because we were in the city center and the world’s largest parliament building was only 120 meters away from the Hungarian Parliament. Therefore, the rent of this house was relatively high. The rent of the house was about one and a half thousand kroner for three nights and four days. Which is about 27 thousand rupees in Indian rupees . We took a bus out of Liberty Square . And by that bus we reached the green island. Where there is only grass, flowers, river breeze and a cold cold weather. Today was a little cloudy, a little sunny. Sometimes all in all it was a beautiful sunny day. Here we got off the bus. And going to that Margaret Island. Entering here reminded me of Budapest’s traditional sweet chimney cake. Chimney cake is a cylindrical sweet bread. This is the bread. Which is crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. And this is Longos. Ngos is a deep fried flat bread. The outside is crispy. And the inside is very soft. If you come to Budapest or Hungary and leave without trying Langos, it seems that the whole trip remains incomplete. After eating these two things, we entered this Margaret Islander. There is a small zoo inside the island. And there is the Rose Garden. Now let’s go around this island and tell you why this island was named Margaret Island. This island was named Margaret Island after a queen. whose name was Princess Margaret. A convent lived here in the 19th century . Her father, King Belafour, made a commitment that if the country was saved, he would send his daughter to religious life. From then on the place became known as Margaret Island and the island itself became historical and spiritual. No cars move inside this island . But you can explore the whole island by bicycle or electric scooter . This is the Rose Garden. Where there are different types of roses and different colored roses. Yellow, red, white, it seems as if these rose flowers are blooming here like a rainbow. It is a very small garden but looks very beautiful. [MUSIC] It’s late in the evening. And now we’re off to see the musical farm again. [MUSIC] Now that we’re on our way to the musical fountain. This fountain is also in Margaret Island. But since the fountain is nice to see in the afternoon or evening , we are going to that island again. Here there is music at a specific time in the evening. And every hour this music is only for five minutes or 10 minutes. Now to see this fountain let me tell you what else we spent in Budapest. I shared the video of the cruise we took in my previous blog. That cruise cost us around 300 kroner for the two of us which is around 2400 in Indian Rupees. And the two dessert items we ate like Chimney Cake and Langos cost us almost Ish Krona . Which is about 2 thousand rupees in Indian rupees. So the total cost of house rent, food and drink and cruise was about 34 thousand rupees in Indian rupees. We took bus or metro to go everywhere . It cost us about 15 kroner each each time. Which is around 120 rupees in Indian rupees. So we traveled many times. We spent roughly 2000 rupees there. Here we take a popcorn. The price of which was around 500 rupees in Indian rupees. Since we haven’t eaten out here very often. Since we As we were on Airbnb we cooked and ate at home. Therefore, we did not spend much on food and drink. Only one day we ate at an Indian restaurant. Which I shared in my previous video. It cost us around Rs 6000 in Indian Rupees. Now we are getting on the tram. Because even if I didn’t take the tram when I came to Budapest, I felt like I missed something. We came on the last day by this tram to see the chain bridge again. I came to see what this bridge looks like in the evening . [MUSIC] [MUSIC] Back from here we’re back in front of the Hungarian Parliament. To have another look at how this parliament building looks like in the night light . It is now 10:00 pm. And you saw how beautiful this parliament building looks after the lights are on. So our total cost in Hungary or Pudta Paste was around 43 to 44 thousand rupees in Indian Rupees. If you want to visit any European city on a low budget, you can definitely come to Hungary or Budapest. Let’s go to see this Swapnapuri of the night. I am ending this video here today. See you in the next video. Tata for the time being .
