Greetings from Mexico City. A friend of mine asked me for help solving the problem of dropping off and picking up his daughter from school.
The biggest problem was that he cannot leave the bike at school, so he had to return with the bike in his hand, which is not impossible but uncomfortable and somewhat risky.
So we found this option

Although the provider promotes it so that the minor can be towed with his bike, the truth is that it does not feel firm.

I also use a Tow Buddy (nearly identical to a Trail gator) to tow my son’s bike with a Brompton. I agree it doesn’t feel safe enough to tow with a child on it.
I measured out how short I could make the tube and still have the recommended 10cm spacing from tyre to tyre and drilled out holes on the tube so the bikes aren’t so far apart with the Brompton’s smaller wheel size
Also, I zip tied the mount for holding the bar to the side of the rack towards the rear, so the mount doesn’t affect the fold or interfere with the axle.
I see you have the swytch, Does your motor vibrate periodically not all the time? I’m asking because I’m trying to resolve mine that does.
