I’ve had the bike looked at and all the components lubed and righted but this noise is back again after a few rides. The shop says it’s most likely not the frame but could not isolate it. Any ideas?
I had this happen and it turned out to just be the cables rubbing but thats probably not what is happening here.

Looks like it’s either the brake cables making a funny sound as they slide against each other. Or your headset is toasted.

Does it only happen while seated? Saddle rails maybe?

Could be cables. Could be headset. Probably seatpost. Good luck. We’re all counting on you

Sounds like the sound my seat post makes when im sitting, shifting my weight on it.

Disassemble your headset, clean it all, grease it real good, and probably replace the headset bearings.

Try remounting your headset with some ParkTool Supergrip Carbon and Alloy Assembly Compound or something similar. Make sure to torque each bolt to spec.

I had a cable click that sounded kind of like this. Can happen esp. when they’re zip tied together or such.

Headset is always the most likely culprit. But on a carbon frame the sound can be coming from a lot of places and resonating. Does it do this while standing or only while seated?

Did they check your headset bearings?

Have you tried rotating the bars while the bike is not moving?

More than likely cable ferrules going into the frame. Move your cable management thingy to the middle of your cable run and see if anything changes

No way you put a carbon fiber lookin wrap on aluminum bike 😂

Take the whole headset apart and grease everything. Then it’ll still click so do it all over again. Then finally grease your seat post and it’s gone!
