finish things that gave me a culture shock this is serious and this is part seven Moy my name is Evan and I moved to Finland 14 years ago to study and work as a chef in the last episode I spoke about having high chance of getting your stuff back in Finland if you lose it however in this episode I’ll talk about the shock I got after losing that one not two but three bicycles in Finland what is the fascination behind stealing bicycles in this country I’ve yet to meet one person living here who has not been a victim of this I also have to know that I used really good locks yet I said Lux I always have a minimum of three locks and yet it doesn’t seem to help they still stole my bike but on the best side of things it was a Learning lesson for me and this pushed me to learn how to drive even though it is the more expensive and unhealthy alternative at least I know no one’s going to steal my car or at least I hope so and this is why I made a series of all the

Were the bikes locked to a solid structure so they couldn't just be picked up?
Sometimes they get stolen by someone who just drives a van next to bunch of bikes and just throws them in. (They can also have quite big tools in that van so better to lock the bike to something with actual solid steel chain. Like those that are meant for motorcycles)
