It comes with a rear rack, 2 ortlieb bags, extra set of wheels and fenders. It can hold up to 40mm tires. I've never gone bikepacking so I'm still not sure what all I need in a bike. I've only ever done road biking.

I have my first bikepacking trip planned in October and it will be about 500mi mostly paved. maybe a bit too ambitious for my first trip but I'm determined lol would this be a good starter bike or should I keep looking?

  1. Gunnars are fantastic bikes – IF it fits you and is built for what you want. I’ll assume you did some searching on this model name? A couple of the first Google hits are some pretty good descriptions.

  2. uh yeah, excellent starter bike. Gunners are awesome, handmade steel USA frames. Pricing typically ranges from US $1,200 for frames, with complete builds starting around $2,200–3,500 depending on specification.

This is decently priced, considering extras and condition. Also pictured is a Ultegra Crankset.

I looks like a circa 2015 fastlane but I’m having trouble finding this exact colourway. I believe Gunner has ceased operations, but you can always try asking them about it on FB for more info: [https://www.facebook.com/GunnarCycles](https://www.facebook.com/GunnarCycles)

Keep in mind this bike is for tall people and lacks some newer mounting options. I’m guessing this frame is 62cm which is typically suitable for riders who are 6’3″ to 6’5″
