La plan was the plan. Primos Rugglitch hyper motivated along with plenty of others as well with the last day in the high mountains to impose yourself. Juno Phipe potentially just ging his loins for Paris and indeed MMA on’s picnic postNL team were out for a little bit of glory. There would be others as well that would like a nibble at the day hunting down that elusive stage win. And what about the great Lipovitz wearing the young riders jersey? Bing girl nursing polka dots on behalf of Tally Baga and they flagged them away with of course on the front line Jonathan Milan in green and determined to hold on to the points jersey. Intermediate sprint would throw itself into our consciousness early on. On a truncated day, it was supposed to be 130 kilometers because of an outbreak of bovine disease. It was trimmed to just over 90 km, but still with 3,250 m of altitude gain. This was no easy task, especially the runup to Laplan itself. [Music] waved us away and the clock began to tick down. Tempoed I think it might have been by Little Trek trying to tear up Jonathan Milan for this and it was an accord between the sprinters as we saw the day prior. There’s a pecking order here and Milan well the man that all of the fast men would like to see in green at the end of this race not somebody who’s already in yellow was working hard trying to tee up Stora teeing himself up out front I’ve got to tell you was Primos Rugglitch you can’t keep a good man down and this is a very very good man as you well know in a select band of brothers of six but that was to shred and indeed The yellow jersey group were never that far behind. Larry Martinez fresh off the naughty step after taking a sticky gel or two and a sticky bottle the day prior. Eight points taken off him in the mountains competition. So he set off to try and amass some more try and rip it off the shoulders of Talipatcha. Joining the fun out front to form a trio of great belly pan. And so it was Julie that Lenny Martinez took the or category gold to play still the Roselon after just skirting across the barrier of a dam and then a long downhill run that would take us inexraably to our big climb up to La Plant. The last mountain peak of note of this race. As you can see, the pelatin itself had shattered and it was about to get a little bit worse after the next category 2 test because a long 35 kilometer descent to the foot of Lelan was always going to be a challenge, especially as the rain had been reported at the finish and spots were starting to indeed fall from the sky and appear on the cameras. one for the cameras, Lenny Martinez going over the top, knowing that the day was going to be too big a task for him, especially as the gap was now down to 47 seconds only. And so, it was a question of who was brave enough on this descent, I’ve got to tell you that like a rocket launcher, Roglitch decided that this day was going to belong to him. Dialing in a bit of insurance, Taliba and the rest of the notables decided that quite frankly discretion the greater form of valor. Grog himself hunting down that elusive stage win that has indeed avoided him and so many other teams 15 in fact still looking for a stage win. It seems to be breakaways or deta himself and it wasn’t going to be roitch after being wound in he dropped out of the back and I guess didn’t have many legs left to offer up in support of Florian Leipovitz in his defense of that white jersey looking very lively on the day team Arensman from Inas Grenaders except of course when Tally Patcha was minded to attack and guess who was on his wheel always Yonas Vingo but wret surfaces were not nice at ball on the blower. Narman came back had a look at them and then decided to attack again but at a modest pace almost tempoing is away at distance now from Pogata and Vingo. They were not too troubled. Still a stage win up for grabs and of course the last mountain peak would always be a temptation to Tally Pocatcha. Aronman did his thing. ground on and maybe maybe grounding the ambitions of those behind him to dust, but it always looked like he was going to get caught. 32 seconds with just under 7 kilometers to go. Baga out of the saddle pling back down in it. Leapitz was here in the white jersey competition. There was only hoping to move up into a podium place and maybe steal that white jersey from Leapit shoulders. Bingo of course moderating Talia Batcher but always always Aaron was going for it. 2 kilometers to go only 19 seconds and the gradients were offering up a hellish toil for Onley who dropped off and indeed Lipovitz was now looking certain to be the best young rider and finished third in this race. Anman meanwhile just kept believing or did he? Was this going to be a dream shattered by a sudden acceleration from behind? 10 seconds the margin with 500 meters to go. He was almost indeed. It seemed about to faint upon that bike, but he just kept it together. Kept tempoing away. It was a genius move. And Aaronman delivered coming in behind with Jonas Vingo ahead of Taliba. clearly showing the fatigue of an amazing race. Almost getting bumped off his bike at the last leap of crossing the line to ensure third place and indeed the young riders classification only also here. Amazing. [Music] What a winner. It just shows dogged determination can pay off. Even he didn’t believe it. Two stage wins in this race. Absolutely remarkable. Shapo to him. And well done, of course, in his grenaders. Yeah, I’m absolutely destroyed. I I can’t believe it. Like already to win one stage in the tour, unbelievable from a break. But now against from the GC group against the strongest riders in the world, it’s feels like I’m dreaming. You know, it’s I don’t know what I just do. Like dreams sometimes turn into reality. GC standings no doubt about our leader Taliba. Same margin four minutes and 24 ahead of Yodas. Lauren Leipovitz insured of a podium and that young riders classification. It’s been an amazing race and I’ve got to tell you it is not over yet. Bontalier offers up a real opportunity for a breakaway day potentially. There’ll be a lot on the rollers before the start. It’s a downhill run to a lumpy day. 184.2 km before of course Paris to finish us off on Sunday. Strap yourselves in. It’s going to be busy. Look at that start. It’s all fans nearly finished, but what excitement awaits. [Music]

  1. Jonas is such a boring driver, never does the dirty work. He could've won today if he only helped Pogacar close the gap for a km or 2. Happy he doesn't win anything this year.

  2. Jonas tried to drop Tadej all the stages after losing big time at Hautacam but was not able to. Ofc he knows that he cant beat Tadej in this tour so if he would pace this climb its for sure that tadej outsprints him in the last few hundred meters to win the stage. So i totally understand the tactic of jonas today to not boost tadej to another stage win.
Without Jonas in the Tour Tadej would lead by 20 minutes if he wanted to. So chapeau to both, they make they race fun to watch. Hope Jonas can be more equal next year, Tadejs just the best rider in the world so keeping up with him and maybe beating him in his weak moments is the only possibillity to have a chance to win against him.

  3. The commentator's constant fluctuation of tempo, inflection and modulation, makes it very difficult to follow and understand what he is saying, and follow his point … like he's forgetting what he is saying and checking his notes, or being distracted and getting back to his thoughts … I only follow TNT because its usually the first TdF Highlights posted, NOT because of its quality.

    GREMO TADEJ!!!

  4. No one is talking how Lazy Jonas is,, pogascar told him..lets go get that guy,, but Jonas was to Lazy, to give himself a change,at a stage Win..Jonas should retire….

  5. I thought Pogi would try to catch Arensman but it seemed as if he didn't want Vingegaard to take the stage. I’m glad his boring tactics didn’t pay off. Also very happy for Lipowitz who takes the white jersey without much support by his team.

  6. What a ride by my man Thymen Arensman! How many riders can ride away with Pogi and Jonas on a big mountain and then beat them. That hasnt happened a lot the past 5 years. Smart move to keep riding away and let Jonas and Pogi fight.
