Im not using the frame bag currently, as I’m just commuting. Once I do some bikepacking it will go back on along with other bags. I’d really like some recommendations for a better front basket as this old one is pretty janky (I have it zip tied with no hardware)

Personally I would add a stem bag/bottle cage even for commuting – always keep a cold one in reach
The quill stem / stem / bar combination looks comfy. What bars are those?
