walk at 8:30 in the morning today with a leisurely stroll let’s see how long it’s going to take us to finish the entire wall while you explore the walls you get to learn a little bit of history along the way a tale of two castles william the Conqueror had O bale and the other castle but Cleffort’s tower is built in 1068 to69 Control York both were destroyed in a Danish Danish attack soon after and had to be rebuilt okay well done thank you very much kenneth has decided to go onto a path less taken there he goes i still see him coming right back down apparently there’s a shortcut here somewhere hello adventurer one part of the wall is done now we’re crossing this bridge to get to the other side and continue our journey so we came from there across the river to this tower hi and onward down the steps and up the steps fascination with spiders these are baby spiders oh look at that it’s fascinating woohoo cat only likes level ground walking not an uphill climb yes exactly i think this is the best way to put one leg in front of another and propel your body forward distance around the walls 1.9 miles or 3.1 km we started at the Michelgate bar now we’re at the Red Tower and we’re going to continue on secret passageway steep stairs careful when you walk okay here we are look at this beautiful view look and that’s like a perfect place for wedding reception wow yes later in the afternoon we might be heading over to the Yorkminster but for now let’s carry on our journey come on Kenneth we’re going to make it just a bit more this kind of weather is so rare for UK not a single 1. Best city in the UK, London, Edinburgh and half a hundred other places are great, but for me, York stands head and shoulders above them! (Don't disagree unless you've been there)!
