Title, I've tried pulling on it really hard, as well as covering my hand/using glover to pull on it. Have put the bolts on the end and LIGHTLY tapped with my wrench but didn't hit too hard. Also sprayed some wd40 to help pull it off and nothing.

What can I do to access the internals of this hub? I want to service it, check bearings and regrease everything but for some reason this driver is proving rather difficult to pull off

Is there something special to pull this driver off?

Wrap a bit of paracord around the inside of the driver, below the teeth, and give it a good yank or two

  2. Is this the common way drivers are fitted these days? I have STLN rampage rear wheel and dread the day I need to replace the driver, and it seems the driver costs as much as half the price of the whole wheel.
