Not sure the KMs on these. They came on a used bike I bought and I was very much aware of the worn rims and it was priced accordingly. I’ve seen worse wear with more concavity, but just trying to gauge what you guys think. Another season out of these or no? These are early 2010s mavic ksyrium premoums and as far as I know, these didn’t come with a traditional wear marker like a line or tiny hole punch that disappears when they’re worn. According to mavic, they make two wear indicators: one with an internal hole. It’s a tiny hole that actually APPEARS instead of disappears when the alloy brake track gets worn enough to show it. This hole has not appeared yet. The other is a long grooved line across the entire alloy braking track, but looking at photos of brand-new ones, these didn’t come with that one.

  1. Have you tried them? If the braking power is satisfactory then surely they’re OK. If not, get new wheels.
