This is the Blue Rock Mountain Bike Club with a home town and trail network amongs the historical mountains and community of Sliven, Bulgaria. Sliven is a city filled with a rich history dating as far back as 6000 BCE of the Neolithic Era and the Thracian settlements in the 5th to 3rd centuries BCE. The city is nestled up against the famous Sinite Kamani , aka the Blue Rocks, which is home to some of the most unique recreational trails you could imagine, composing of fresh flowing pine tree runs on one end, and rocky dry exposed technical trails on the other. The trails are filled with myth and legends of hidden treasures from the Roman Empire and more recently the Bulgarian Haiduts, aka the Freedom Fighters, who fought against the occupation of the Ottoman Turks during the 19th century to gain their independence. The Haiduts hid, operated, and traversed amongst the hidden caves and trails residing within the Sinite Kamani, now known as THE FREEDOM TRAILS.
