But back to the finish. They can hardly see him, but they’ll cheer for him. He was brave and went for it when others were still looking at those in the groups with them. Ben O’ Conor joining an adventurous move in the valley having survived with the GC riders allowed back at some point and now he’s going to take the spoils. Jar Lula going to become the ninth team to win a stage at this tour and winning the tour. It’s going to be Pulbacha barring a big blow up tomorrow. [Applause] One more big mountain stage to survive for him, but they really haven’t put him under anything like cracking. At the front though, all the honor going to Ben Connor. The Grimace’s pain faces will turn to a smile. The way it worked out earlier on today, not many would have bet on a breakaway, a late move. Anyone not in the GC taking it, but Okconor has it. It’s trademark stuff from Big Ben O’ Conor. He wins on one of the toughest mountains in the tour. Kla taken by the Australian and he’s the first non-European winner at this tour. O’ Connor with Rubio just behind him and Sean that’s a wonderful win. Well, what a performance by Ben Okconor there and uh you know he set out on this stage to try and get a stage win. Was the strongest of a very very strong group but he has to hook the race into his hands very early and gets his victory. Well, there’s going to be no erasing of those memories in terms of a win for today but he’s doing his best to try and distance Vingore. Vingor who tried to set the whole team against him and even now Pulacha just seated just there right at the end waiting he’s able to put time into his rivals so easily this is Pachan he’s even going to pick up bonus seconds no big attack launched no big move made no photographic moment there at the end but even doing this just as he did the other Today on the giant of Tadapel Gachan is going to deflate the bisma Lisa bike hopes they can build all their big breakaways get riders up the road show it flex the muscle but in the end it’s Bulga who always wins no more demons here for today Pulacha the autocam humiliation was returned with interest a vault moral victory then but now today turning the roads of his torment into a near like crowning moment of a fourth tour win in waiting. Not quite domination today, but in the GC it’s total tour domination. The ultimate rider and not quite a resounding defeat, but a big big attempt to take it to the top man has blown right up in Visma Lisa’s fate. We look back from Oscar only and he’ll be looking down to see what the damage now is to Florian Leovitz. Yes. Well, there will be a lot of riders and uh Oscar only definitely will be looking what he has gained on this man Florence Leitz and what a performance by Poga once again here. He just rides away in the saddle. He just proves that he is that bit better on these finishes and when he goes in that final couple of hundred meters being go hasn’t got anything left to react. Here’s Rogich making his way to the line. But it’s his teammate Leapovitz we’re looking at. Crucially Vingor taking third place. So no bonus seconds for Onley there. I think you go think coming in at around 2 minutes. Sean roughly down. Yes, just a little over two minutes I think it was. And uh yeah, it is going to be a one where uh certainly Oscar only will be really going for this one tomorrow because the man he’s challenging for the place on the podium. He has had a difficult day. Keep that clock ticking because Liberovich isn’t there yet. It’s K now coming to the line and Oscar on getting mightily close to the tour to France podium the white jersey dropped down the mountain but he’s fighting he’s hurting he’s giving everything and Germany’s big hope crosses the line keeps the white jersey holds on to third place but the battle will rage on for third tomorrow even if we I think now Sean that in all realistic terms yellow is done and most probably dusted. Well, first of all, I think Leapitz, it was always going to be difficult for him when he uh, you know, was doing so much on his own for quite a long time, but from the yellow jersey, it looks like Pogchar has really, you know, come out after the big battle all day from Visma Lisa boy. He’s come out on top once again and it looks like that he is going to go all the way tomorrow. Another difficult stage in boy racing. You’ll just never know. But certainly he has took behold on the yellow jersey to go all the way to Paris. The French hero and quite rightly darling of this tour is Kevin Vlan. Twice today on Big Mountains dropped both times fighting back. And I tell you what, from where he was four and a half minutes from the winner, that is quite the performance to bring it on.

  1. O Conner should be disqualified for his team pushing him up the. Hill every 500 m there’s no need for a bottle every half a km

  2. What a disappointing final climb. Everything got f*cked up in that valley just before, with all the domestiques returning. I was really hoping we would see Jonas and Pogi mano a mano for the whole climb. Visma had better plans in 2022

  3. Lenny Martinez got a penalty for sticky bottles today. Did Jonathan Milan get a penalty for the 3-4 consecutive sticky bottles the other day?

  4. I dont understand why so many here are dissapointed. If Pogi wins all Mountains stages its "boring", when he doesnt its now "boring" too. Idk what U all expect. And Pog himslef said he has a little cold, which is why He probably doesnt want to go too deep, cause then He maybe gets rly sick, like MVDP. So He rides smart to win yellow, not one more Stage and abandon.

  5. Vin seems to have gone backwards in his performances in the last couple of years, whereas Pog is getting better and most likely will get even better considering his age. We need a new challenger to come forward otherwise grand tours with Pog in are going to be foregone conclusions as regards the winner.

  6. Pogacar with a cold, barely any team support, doesn't ever leave his saddle and still beats anyone and everyone, even specialists at their specialty.

How? Doping, my man. One day, it will be found. You don't just outperform "legends" in history of the sport that even were caught doping and maintain your peak for 9 months in a row lmfao

  7. What is more obvious? Pogacars legendary doping or Pogacars bad acting trying to make his doping less obvious. At this point its the acting isnt it? full cringe. If he was clean he could even be within an hour behind the GC at this point hes going so fast

  8. The cool mist must be such a relief for the riders compared to the usual searing heat on the climbs? Fans probably despise it cos it ain't "drinking" weather & it's tough to see the "Tour" approaching but the climbers aren't twisted through dehydration!

  9. you guys are crying over Pogacar not attacking whereas Visma guys are the one who made this stage "boring" once two groups reunited, they still had Kuss and Yates as well as Jorgenson upfront, yet they didn't even push properly to catch up to O'Connor so Tadej could fight for a stage win. Instead, Yates was pulling slower than O'Connor.
