It's been a little over a month, since buying my first MTB. I got the Mongoose Switchback expert. I've been riding a few times a week, and I'm having so much fun! Slowly getting better, and more confident over terrain. And I'm really liking this bike too!

been about two months for me getting a MTB. first time i’ve been on a bike for like 5 years, first time riding off road and getting more comfortable too. welcome! where is that trail? looks beautiful
It’s a good habit ! Welcome to the fun .
The world seems different on one
I just started riding this summer and having fun progressing. i cant believe i used to go hiking with my feet like some chump.
Good decision!! It’s great for body and mind
Awesome! Next step; buy a bike repair stand and watch some basic bike repair videos, like rear derailleur adjustment. I had been riding for close to 10 years before I got a stand and started wrenching my own bike. That was the first thought that crossed my mind; should of bought that stand much sooner!
Right?!?! I had mountain biked a little in my college days with a cheap hardtail at my hometown (which has alright trails) and it was just simply alright.
I recently scored a fantastic deal on a Santa Cruz full suspension and holy fuck. The town I live in has fantastic trails and coupled with this bike, I’ve been having an absolutely blast ripping through them. I keep telling myself I should have purchased a FS bike so much sooner.
Never too late and I’m extremely happy at this moment. Can’t wait for the weekend to get back on and do some more!
