Please tell me I ordered the wrong bag. I went with the biggest one available (2.5L), but there's still at least a 5 cm gap at the rear where it doesn't align with the XL frame shape at all. Why recommend this bag if it doesn’t even fit the frame properly? It honestly looks pretty silly. According to the description, the bag is supposed to be made for this bike size (second Photo). Is there a better-fitting option for the Endurance 6 AL?

Maybe you got the wrong size by mistake? Any identification numbers you could call service with to see if it matches your order? I got the m bag for frame size m and it fits like the pictures show
It looks like the bag is designed to fit the Endurace CF frames. If you look at those, the seat stay, seat tube, top tube junction will fill that gap you are seeing.
Yea this can’t be right. They should at least say it doesn’t fit the XL, which although big, isn’t*huge*

I bought the Midloader (2,5l version) for my Endurace CF SLX7 and it fits perfectly. I ride a size L.
The XL frame is different than the ones that this bag looks good on. But it sits. I have Fjällräven on mine, but i use it wrong way around (back side front) 😁 Hard to find a good bag for XL, altho, i kind of like my setup

since the carbon variant looks like that, it makes sense.
with bikepacking bags inside the frame you just have to live that it will be sligthly smaller or do not fit, otherwise go custom. there are thousands of bike model and size combinations.
