Six months ago I bought this bike, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Since then, I’ve clocked hundreds of kilometers across four countries, tackled a gravel race, and I’m stoked for many more adventures ahead.
Now that I’ve had some proper time to ride it as it came straight out of the box (still completely stock), the upgrade bug is definitely starting to bite. I’m especially thinking about shedding a bit of weight—pretty sure the stock wheels and cockpit are on the heavier side.
For those of you who’ve been down this road: what were your first upgrades that made a real difference in ride feel or overall comfort? I’m starting to do longer rides, so comfort’s becoming a bigger factor too.

Wheels and the tubes of the tires. TPU replacement or tubeless. This will save a lot of weight.
RedShift stem, I switched out the saddle for my Brooks C-17. Looking at the RedShift seatpost next, but first I need Canyon to get back to me about their dumbass seatpost clamp that came right out the other day when I was adjusting my height.
