My head circumference is 59 cm, which is at the top end of M and bottom end of L for Giro. As you can see, I have a long head, but with the helmet adjusted to the forward position, it comes down far enough on my forehead I think. Just want to make sure that I'm properly protected. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Need to adjust the straps so they don’t lie on your ear, but looks like a good fit.

Hi fellow 59er. Will you ever wear a cycling cap or any headwear under the helmet? If so, I’d seriously consider the L.
I’m a 58cm kind of guy, and usually just squeeze into medium helmets. I feel like 59cm would be pushing it on a lot of the ones that I’ve used. Sometimes head shape just matters more though, so if it fits go for it.
I would choose L so you can wear a helmet hat in winter.
How’s it feel? Going to be hard to give an opinion based on a pic?
