Hey guys, welcome to day six of my island tour. Today I’m going to be doing a round trip on the bike. First things first, I got to fill up, so I stopped by this really good bagel shop and I got an egg and cheese bagel. Also a really delicious oat milk latte. Today it is pouring rain and I’ll be doing 62 km with 680 m of climbing. But good news, I’m riding without all my luggage on the bike because I left it over at the hotel. It got more and more wet as I went, so I took out my shoe covers to help keep my feet dry and carried on. Today, I learned about hurling. It’s an Irish sport, and there’s a big game uh with Cork versus Dublin this weekend. So, there’s bunch of flags and even a mannequin on one of the driveways to support Cork. I rode down to a small ferry and crossed the water. The guy working was so lovely and we had a nice little chat while crossing the water. Then, I made my way to Cove. I wish the weather was a little better here because it’s so beautiful, but I didn’t stay very long. I did some crazy steep climbs today. My Twitch chat recommended me to go to a food market, so I headed over there and it was amazing. So many food stalls to choose from and it was undercover. I ended up going with the Irish stew because it felt right after cycling in the rain. I went and ate outside actually because the rain did stop. But yeah, that’s everything for today. Um, and here’s some bonus footage of my hair that I got done the next day. Anyway, okay. Bye.

The hurling final was actually Cork v Tipperary and the match was in Dublin. Tipperary won in the end.
Been watching you every day from Ottawa. Have to say I love your stream and your drive to keep going despite the weather conditions. Safe ride always.
Its always raining there.
