Hey everyone!
Last year, I had a road accident and totaled my Rose X-Lite 04 with rim brakes. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for a new build—and I kept finding myself drawn to Time bikes, especially after seeing so many beautiful builds here on Reddit.
Eventually, I came across a Time Alpe d’Huez frame for a great price and decided to go for it. It’s not a brand-new build in terms of components, but it’s solid, reliable, and has a bit of the charm I really appreciate.
There’s something special about riding a Time. The craftsmanship of the frame is absolutely gorgeous, and it just feels unique.
Here’s what I’ve put together so far:
- Frame: Time Alpe d’Huez 01 (with rim brakes)
- Groupset: Older Dura-Ace Di2
- Wheels: Elite carbon clinchers
- Tires: Continental GP 5000 TR
- Saddle: Ergon SR saddle (super comfortable)
- Crank: Q-ring oval chainrings
Loving the way it turned out and also see a lot of further improvements, but wanted to share it with you all. Cheers!
