Do I jump like the joy of bike tutorial? Or do I manual back and then go forward? Do I shift my weight back at all?

Newbie here. I’m manualinng getting that tyre up and it seems decent but is it more naturally to practice this jump and not lean back or bring the wheel back?

    While you can hop out of a manual, a proper bunnyhop is very different and gets you way higher. Weight has to go up, not back. First you push the bike into the ground to create a spring effect, then your front wheel goes way higher than for a manual and you pull the bars into your upper leg/hip area, then back wheel comes up, knees are tucked in further etc.
