First off – this is not a road bike, but a cyclocross bike. It has clearance for and is equipped with wider tires, cantilever brakes instead of caliper brakes and has subtle geometry differences to the road bike version of the Caad8. Just so you know what you’re looking at.
I think 600 is an okay price. All generations of Caad are popular with enthusiasts, so they hold their value quite well, and this seems to have upgraded shifters too. There’s a chance to get a better deal on a less popular make and model though.

That’s a CAADX, a cyclocross bike. No CAAD8 had cantis. The CAAD8 decal has been added. It doesn’t match the rest of the badging. Maybe the seller doesn’t know, but now you do.
