My London Bike Ride This Afternoon

Set off from King’s Cross, and quickly slipped into the tranquility of the Regent’s Canal, pedaling along the calm waterway toward Camden Town. After a quick cruise past the buzz of the markets and a glimpse of London Zoo, I followed the canal all the way to Little Venice, soaking in the charming moored boats and peaceful scenery.

From there, it was on to Paddington, then a straight shot to Marble Arch, where I entered the green heart of the city—Hyde Park. A full loop around gave me fresh air, lakeside views, and that unbeatable feeling of wide-open space in the middle of the city.

Back into the urban energy, I rode through the electric lights of Piccadilly Circus, paused at the fountains in Trafalgar Square, and wandered through the buzz of Covent Garden.

Finally, I wrapped up where I began—King’s Cross—feeling like I’d seen a little bit of everything: peaceful paths, iconic landmarks, and the ever-moving spirit of London.
