Yes, on the giant of Provence, a new chapter of history has been written today and it’s the French who finally have their headline at this year’s cheer to France. Valon Bar with the win. Almost a wobble at the top of the climb as well, but the French would be very happy with that Robbie, wouldn’t they? You can forgive him for having a bit of a wobble on the top of the climb after everything they went through. But, uh, Pad, what a rider. Healey such a strong performance and then let it out for Par never giving it up and for a guy who he pure climber built so slightly you would never guess that that sort of power come out of that slightly built frame but on the top of the M von 2 power weight is everything he had all the power hardly any weight and if you’d asked the French fans after what has been a sort of pretty frustrating first couple of weeks if they willing to wait to get an iconic French victory on the Mont Vonour I think they would said we we mercy. Um absolutely you can see the delight amongst that team as well. They have had quite a roller coaster of a trip to France, haven’t they? Just waiting for this little moment once again taking his win. Just keeping it upright. All he needed to do that is a fourth stage win for Sadal Quickstep after losing their team leader Ramco a himself went home with a stage win. Timberlier with two as well. It’s a hugely successful team performance and a real example of resilience in the face of all of that hardship. Really, look, isn’t it? Yeah, it’s like we said at the start of the show, there’s uh a small number of teams and they seem to just be winning everything. Um the usual suspects, that’s their fourth stage win. Not leaving much scraps for us at Pelaton. There’s still 15 teams without a stage win. And that number has not decreased. Still 15 teams. But imagine that Remco was still in the race riding for GC. Par Panther wouldn’t have had this this opportunity. So, credit to him for being able to go out, get in the break, and then take the opportunity that was offered to him in this situation and make the most of it. Can we please have a word for Ben Healey, Matt, because I was cheering his victory before he even turned that final corner. Yeah, look, he he showed he was clearly one of the strongest in the breakaway. Did a a lion share of the work to bring the ring mass back and then was just outkicked in the final sprint. But the problem Ben’s got as well is uh he’s also riding GC. So I haven’t looked at the final statistics where he’s finished, if he’s moved up a spot or not, but no, he looked he definitely looked the strongest. Yeah, we’ll take a look at that in just a moment. This is where Ben Healey was still in front, but they still had to turn around that final corner, which is where Pan B took the advantage. And we saw a huge GC battle behind him. I say huge, it was certainly fiercely fought. In the end, it was Tatty Vagatcha who emerged victorious from that tussle once again. We managed to catch up with Yunas Vingo at the line. Bit of a media scrum around him, but let’s hear from the Dian, shall we? Yeah, some photographer just ran straight out of in front of me, straight after the finish line. I don’t know what uh what he was doing. Was it a hard crash? Well, did you press your decision? Yeah, I uh I went down. I think uh people in the Finnish area, they should uh use their eyes a bit more. What can you say about today? About the rest of the stage, about the final climb. Well, I was uh feeling very good today. So uh happy with the feeling today and happy with uh the attacks I tried to do and uh yeah of course I didn’t gain any time today but uh I take a lot of motivation today. What about the full commitment of the team yourself camp? [Music] Yeah we u we wanted to have somebody in the break and uh the team did really amazing today. Everybody worked with everything they had. So, uh yeah, I couldn’t Yeah, it was really commitment from everyone and everyone was doing super great. So, uh thank you to all my teammates. Did you ever see any weakness in catastro? Did you see anything? Oh, I mean he followed me every time I attacked and I followed him when he attacked. So yeah, I don’t know if I could see any any weaknesses today now, but uh at least I yeah, it gives me some motivation how good I felt today. And uh as I said earlier, I will keep trying. [Music] He’s still fighting, isn’t he? We saw that on the road several times today. This is Tatty Pagar off the front, but you fingo certainly had a few attacks before this. We’re watching this through because you and I referenced there that he fell at the finish line that a photographer was standing in his way. We didn’t get to see that on the live shot. I don’t think we get to see this here, but we’ll keep rolling it anyway just to see. Um he sounded frustrated with that, Matt, as you would imagine. Yeah, frustrated because I think he’s very confident that he’s going well, but unfortunately for him, it’s just not good enough to distance himself from today. Yeah, we didn’t get to see that on our camera shot there. The images of uh Unas Fingo. He said he hit the deck after colliding with a photographer at the finish line. And it is always such a scrum after any finish line of a tour to France. Robbie, the difficulty somewhere like here as well is that you’re finishing right at the very summit. There isn’t really anywhere else for the photographers to be, but it’s something that is usually really tightly policed and they’re very aware of trying to stay out of the way of the riders. Well, the thing is there is even though it is very tight at a finish like this one, there is a place for the photographers to be, it’s a smaller space they normally have available to them, but what they need to do is stay put and definitely not run into a rider. And there’s very clear what what Yonas said that a photographer left his position and ran straight across his path and and knocked him off. So you can understand his frustration after you any time in the race whatsoever even on the way to the sign wouldn’t matter but particularly after riding a climb like they just did coming over absolutely on your limit and then some think of a word I can’t say the ones I’m thinking of that uh that just you runs into you. Yeah it’s absolutely maddening isn’t it? Um I I found it really interesting hearing from you and us there because it was a real exercise in in a rider who is giving it everything. He’s feeling good. He is still attacking this race despite the dwindling number of stages to come and he and he he’s not giving this up just yet. Look, is he? No. I think there was a quote uh from the rest day which is I’m prepared to slip down the GC and I’ll give everything I can to win the race which is which is the attitude you want to take. a guy who’s won two yellow jerseys, two tour of to Frances in the bag, he’s not that bothered about second place. It’s it’s it’s all or nothing, which is a great it’s the attitude we want to see as spectators and fans of the sport is we want to see that, you know, given everything and not prepared to lose and that’s what that’s what he’s doing. Unfortunately, he did lose a further two seconds today after Tannato sprints to the line. So, UNS is still in second, but he’s now at 4:15. Um, I want to let you know Ben Healey has moved up to ninth. He’s at 1752. He started the day at 1840 uh where am I? 1841 and Oscar Onley remains in fourth although he did lose some 2 minutes on Tanny Pagata. So his gap there is what 2 minutes and 1 second now to Florian Leupitz in third and Florian Lipovitz still at the top of the young riders classification. So Oscar keeping that fourth place though. Uh Primos Roglitch is moving closer. He’s now up to fifth. He’s at 11:42. Stopping with Kevin Vulcan, he’s down to sixth. And as you can see at the bottom of that top 10, Ben Healey moving up tonight. Carlos Rodriguez moving down to 10th. And it’s it’s telling of this to France, isn’t it? Where you’re trying to see any sign of weakness in any of the riders, but specifically Teddy Bagat. You’re thinking, oh, is this the moment the TR turns around? No, it’s not. Um, but grimace. He’s just giving us a show of his teeth. But when the front grip was at 7.3 km, you attacked. And we thought, you thought that Tad maybe had a grimace behind him at this stage. It was probably the only time that his mouth opened. Yeah. And that he looked slightly not as comfortable as he has in the last two weeks, but that didn’t last for very long. Robbie, what did you make of Tad today given the fact that Yonas was off the front? He was the one attacking. Tad didn’t go anywhere obviously and then took him in the run for the line. What did you think of Tad’s Demino? That he looked within himself. I picked up that same uh momentary grimace from from Tad when Yonas first went, but other than that, he answered every attack in the saddle. Um, but that that is his style and he trains that very very hard and very specifically his his riding style. That’s why he doesn’t get out of the saddle much until he really goes full acceleration in the sprint. But he just looked in control the whole way up. placed one attack just as a tester and after that just said okay then I’ll I’ll just follow uh he never looked in trouble you know I feel like this time gap doesn’t do justice to the rivalry we see on the road look because they are so close together aren’t they and the fact that as I said a moment ago that now has 4:15 to make up but he’s fighting as though it’s only half a minute isn’t he yeah but I think you know Pogy’s in that situation now he doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t have to go crazy I think if the stage win was up for grabs. If they were that 30 seconds closer that they needed, you might have seen him do an allout crazy attack, but he’s he’s got four and a quarter minutes. He doesn’t need to do these crazy things. He’s he still had one good dig and and did try and crack him, but I’d say he probably had another few% there if he needed it if a stage win was was on the cards, but it wasn’t. And um yeah, we’ve just seen they’re just going blow to blow, but also just in that final, don’t forget it is headwind, so it’s harder to get away. You know, there was that big attack from Pogy, but he’s going into a headwind despite it being uphill. Wind is wind and it’s still going to be there. Yeah, he’s just a phenomenal writer, isn’t

Vini is complaining again. What a silly man.
No, you idiot. He is frustrated because a twat stepped infront of him, and decked him. What a dunce.
merci Eurosport / TNT team for great work 👏
Ben was amazing. So proud. 😊🇮🇪
To quote Sir Lews Hamilton: This game is rigged, man!
The media scrum around Jonas is INSANE…. Good Lord. I hope his shoulder is OK.
