I was not sure if I wanted to travel up with my road bike to Vermont. Was thinking about getting a cheapish Walmart Ozark or a rental.
Found this bad boy on offerup and met up at the airport. It's a 2022 Giant Revolt advanced 2 had to get it tuned as mountain downhills are dangerous.
First gravel bike and I'm hooked. Around 40% of the terrain was gravel. It's not ideal as it will need drivetrain refresh soon but can't complain under $650
It has some 40mm Maxxis Ramblers that in sure should be replaced next time. Other than that, loving gravel especially in the northeast kingdom.
Any ideas of potential upgrades? Also the saddle has a ton of play, not sure what up.

Wheel upgrades are an obvious choice, the stock Giants are fairly heavy. My Advanced 2 I swapped the FSA crankset for a GRX 600 and a Wheels Manufacturing thread together BB. Crankset swap alone is like half a pound, wheels could easily save a pound for not a ton of money.
Oh, and a round seatpost.
