I just got a Miyata 512 – It has been a fun bike, cant complain for a 30 year old bike. But I notice I have no attachment points by the seat/frame to attach it to- any ideas/tips?
P-clamps, brake bridge, or they do make a clamp that goes around the seat post which on road isn’t going to matter since you mostly set and forget your seat.
They can make a seatpost mount for you. Basically 2 aluminum rails that attach to the screw on your seatpost. Rest is mounted to your axle

I have an old school road bike and used a center bracket attached to the brake bridge. Bonus points if you snag a vintage Blackburn rack with the center mount

You can check out the Ortlieb quick rack. You can get seat post mounts for it at the bottom and at the top it straps onto the seat post.

“p clamps” and a regular bicycle rear rack
