The Ducati Desmo is named because of its desmodromeic valve system which allows higher speeds and better performance. The Desmo is associated with the legendary rider Mike Hwood who was very successful with these bikes. Produced between 1961 and 1974, these bikes are steeped in Ducatti history and sporting heritage.
