After picking this up on the weekend I decided to start by swapping out some parts with stuff I had on the shelf.
First off was changing the 48/16 ratio for something that had more than 1 skid patch, and also was less tough on my weak old man legs.
Turns out the wheel from the broken Via Condotti I bought had a 17t sprocket, and as a bonus an NJS lock ring.
Did the forst ride on the 48/17 and it feels much nicer.
