Hey everyone, I was looking for a new bike for every aspect. First of all, I was looking for a Race Gravel because I like Classic Road bikes, but I want to be more flexible on my rides.
My bike should bei more Race Bike than Gravel (8-90% Road, 10-20% Gravel) I only want one bike for everything: fast pace, easy going, indoor zwift, Zone 2 Training & Sporty rides.
The two Models are equal, so I was wondering If anyone of you has some expierience with two. What Model would you pick? Let me know and thank you

I just got a Backroad FF 1×13, it’s incredible (can imagine similar for the GRX variant)! Had a few canyons in the past and I think it’s so much better in every way!
Pick the one which (physically) fits better. Specs are pretty similar. I‘d probably prefer the DT Swiss wheels over the Rose ones for their hubs, but … fit over everything else.
Try any of the available bike geometry tools online, particularly if it comes to stem length, bar (width) etc. differences will become clearer.
In a nutshell: you will be more pleased, comfortable & quicker on a lower spec bike that fits perfectly over the other way around.
I have canyon grizl (with 2 sets of wheels) as my all round bike. Both bikes you mentioned look nice, Rose has more classic road look. On the other hand, thanks to this bigger clearance between front wheel and frame there should be no toe overlap (my frame is size M & no toe overlap)
I test rode both bikes and pulled the trigger on the Grail despite living near the ROSE HQ.
Don’t get me wrong, both are great bikes but after test riding them several times the Grail felt a tiny bit better and i like more colorful paintjobs. Rose bikes are pretty meh paint wise, even the pricier versions. The only exception is “Rotten Candy” on the Di2 version.
Oh and the waiting time for a service for a Rose bike (if needed -earliest appointment would be nov. 25) is atrocious. Your experience may vary depending where you live.
I would suggest you to look at Geometry Geeks to compare both bikes.

I personally would go for the Rose Backroad, because of the tire clearance 45mm instead of 42mm of the canyon.
