A few weeks ago, I bought some MAAP bib shorts, and to my surprise, after just a few rides, I've noticed visible wear on the saddle area.
What I find most strange is that this hasn't happened with any of my other bib shorts, including other MAAP models! My other pairs are perfectly fine, but with this specific pair, the fabric in the contact area with the saddle is showing signs of abrasion quite quickly.
Has anything similar happened to anyone else with MAAP bib shorts or another brand? I'd like to know if this is a known issue, if it might be specific to this model, or even if there's something about my riding position/pedaling or my saddle that could be contributing to it.

I’ve had 3 pairs fail so far, each wear (but in front section) after just 2–3 weeks of use. The good thing is that MAAP has been responsive with handling recalls and refunds, which I appreciate — but it would be better not to be in this situation at all. It’s a real shame, as I love their style, and I went all in with 4 bundles just about two months ago. Unfortunately, even the Air Jersey is starting to fall apart after only about six rides — the stitching around the zipper is coming undone. I think it’s time for me to make ASSOS my new home.
Worth highlighting that they also have an issue with the return labels. Just miss my deadline on jersey as they have not responded. Guess the holiday break 😉
