Well done 👏for getting so far in that heat 🥵
Now then Stuart…really nice meeting with you at Cresswell..Thoroughly enjoying your content, keep smiling, hopefully speak again soon.
Was seriously tough with the heat. I was contemplating my life choices at 200km point. I stuffed my face at the cafe and got a second wind and finished quite strong as the temperature became more bearable.
Always listen to the body. Those temperatures require a serious fuelling strategy that is beyond the capabilities of just plain water. Thanks for sharing your experiences 👍
Pacing is everything on a long ride Stewart. And the combination of excessive heat. You will do better next time.
Do you have a link to the event? A quick search for c2c2c2 takes me to the 100mile/200km charity event but not a 300km there and back again.
