#Day 41 of my balkan biketrip continued with 95km cycling from #Prizren to #Gjilan, crossing Southern Kosovo through the challenging Šar mountains between Kosovo and Macedonia.
I started with almost 3 hours ascend from 450 to 1600m altitude and was “lucky” to find snow around 1200m already. I had not expected that!
The temperature dropped but pushing uphill and my winter cloths kept me warm enough. -2° on top!
These days mark the real start of autumn in the region. On the way down the views were beautifull with all trees are covered in snow.
