A cycling adventure through the Suffolk Coast & Heaths National Landscape, exploring historic towns, wild estuaries, and haunting ruins along the English coast.
Starting at Felixstowe, we pass the busy container port, the scenic Felixstowe Ferry, and ride alongside the tranquil River Deben. We visit the mighty Landguard Fort, cross the estuary, and head north through countryside lanes to Orford, with its unique 12th-century castle and sweeping views of Orford Ness.
Further along, we arrive at the atmospheric ruins of Leiston Abbey, once home to Premonstratensian canons, and end the ride surrounded by the rich history and natural beauty of Suffolk’s heritage coast.
