Love this bike. It’s fast and absolutely love the comfort but oh my g-d, It’s freaking heavy! Even after upgrading to carbon fiber handlebar and rims!
Been thinking of getting another endurance bike(roubaix) but is it really lighter and comfy?

Anyone here have this bike? What other upgrades did y’all do to help with the weight?

    FYI, there is a whole forum dedicated to weight saving.

    A few things to consider;
    1. Do you need to run a saddle bag? Use the in frame storage under your front bottle cage. Hopefully you dont have a tool kits in both.
    2. Weight is not that important until you start to race competitively or climb really long and steep climbs. Most bikes under 9 kg will feel the same in 80% of riding conditions.
    3. Running tubeless and upgrading components to lighter variants and using lighter wheels are all very effective ways to shed bicycle weight.
    4. You are always better off spending the money to do #3 buying better food, clothing and kit to maximise how much you are riding.
